Confidence: Your Biggest Ally (Part 1)

So… let me admit up front that I was in my feelings and started to “side-eye” this title just a tiny bit ONLY because I was being selfish. After all, I (yours truly) am claiming to be YOUR accountability partner, right? Why would you possibly need confidence when there is me ? . But never mind. I have quickly found my place and dethroned my ego (LOL).

On a more serious note though, THIS topic is just what the doctor ordered, and I am definitely going to take a double dose, in rotation for the next few weeks.

Last week’s post holds a special place in my heart because it reminds me of the times when I had to push through and climb high without the support I thought I would have had. It was about continuing on, whether welcomed with cheers of validation or silence from going against the grain. You see, it would not be fair to you, if we do not acknowledge that the road to achieving your goals may include moments of unexpected solitude.

I have spent the first few weeks from the beginning of this year encouraging you to write down your thoughts, ideas, goals, plans and strategies. Now its time to focus on fortifying and building “YOU” up to carry them through until the end. Inner “Confidence” will help keep you on track and from being derailed. It is that reservoir of special energy that will keep the way before you well lit and bright in the middle of dark times. No one automatically owns or should have the legal right to your ambitions – except you.

It has often been said that one’s greatest enemy lies within – meaning inside you. And for some people this has probably been a major stumbling block sabotaging their efforts. But starting today, I want you to focus on the flip side of this belief, and recognize that “Your greatest ally lives within.” Be confident in who you are, where you want to go, and what you will have at the end when you are finished.

You are already a success.
